Liquid Pipeline & Terminal Piping (ASME B31.4)
Liquid pipelines and the piping of tank farms, pump stations and terminals to ASME B31.4: wall thickness and maximum operating pressure (403.2.1), hoop stress and surge (402.3, 403.3), the hydrostatic test (437.4), and the acceptance of corrosion and dents found in service (451.6.2)

◉ ASME B31.4-2016 · 403.2.1, 437.4, 451.6.2 · UPGRADE DUE: B31.4-2022 · NOT A REGULATORY SUBMISSION TOOL
⚠ Edition. Built on ASME B31.4-2016, the text on file. B31.4-2022 is current and has not been compared: the tool will be upgraded when that text is available. Pipe yield strengths (API 5L and ASTM) and the corroded-pipe equations of ASME B31G (named in 451.6.2.2 but a separate standard) are not in the B31.4 text supplied: the tool uses their published values and says where. Scope (400.1.1): liquid pipelines between production, storage, refineries, pump stations and terminals, and the piping within tank farms and terminals associated with them, from −30 to 120 °C. Indicative tool.
Identification
B31.4 gives each equation in both systems (SI: bar and MPa). Records are kept in SI.
