⚠ Indicative tool only, and genuinely new territory for this project. Electrical hazardous area classification is a distinct discipline from anything else built so far. Verified directly against Figures 6, 7, and 8 of this edition. This tool reproduces the standard's own worked examples for common tank configurations — it doesn't classify every possible site condition (high filling rates, blending operations, or unusual layouts may require extending boundaries per the standard's own Note 1 on each figure). A qualified area classification study remains the authoritative reference.

Tank Configuration (§8.2.1)
Combustible liquid case uses Figure 8's simpler nonenclosed/enclosed distinction — the ventilation sub-choice doesn't change the combustible-liquid result (enclosed is unclassified regardless, provided vents are extended outside).
